A small, family-run dressage stud in the rolling hills of Herefordshire — quietly producing warmbloods of exceptional movement, temperament and presence.
A quiet pursuit of equine excellence in the Malvern Hills.
At Hester Dressage Stud we breed a small number of foals each year — selecting only the finest bloodlines and pairing them with proven, athletic mares. Every horse is brought on by hand, in the field, with patience and consideration. The result is a horse with a generous mind and three rideable paces.

A selection from the yard
Selected
Each mating is considered for movement, temperament and conformation.
Born in the field
Foals arrive at home, in the herd they will grow up in.
Hand-raised
Daily handling from day one — leading, loading, farrier, traffic.
Brought on slowly
No shortcuts. Every horse is given the time it needs to mature.

"There is no better place to raise a horse than the British countryside."
"A great dressage horse begins long before the saddle. It begins in the field, in the handling, in the bloodline — and most of all, in patience."
